This year announced by year of Russia in Monaco, this event became the carrier of a special cultural mission.
The action got great success, having brought together a large number of judges of ballet art. Her Royal Highness Carolina, the princess Monegasque and Hanover became the titled guest of an event, among guests of honor there were also a Director of “the Ballet by Monte Carlo” Jean-Christophe Maillo, the Honorary consul of the Russian Federation in Monaco madam Ekaterina Semenikhina and her spouse – the Honorary consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Monaco Vladimir Seminikhin, the Ambassador at large at the State Minister of Monaco Henri Fissor, the Ambassador of Monaco in the Russian Federation madam Mireille Pettiti and others.
The Gala Russe project which started in Monaco in 2012 goes sources to century heritage of the Diaghilev’s “Russian seasons”. In them the idea of revival of tradition of representation of the Russian art on the Azure coast was obtained, and the St. Petersburg businessmen Maxim Shubarev and Eduard Raikin became ideologists.
Since 2012, annually the Gala Russe project gives to residents of the Grand Duchy unforgettable meetings with stars of the opera and the ballet of world size. Each concert is unique, but all of them are united by the idea of the universal cultural values existing out of times and spaces.

Year of Russia in Monaco comes to an end, and GALA RUSSE already prepares next – the fifth season for the future 2016, and promises to meet expectations of the audience a bright performance. “Next year we will present new statement of legendary Boris Eifman, – Eduard Raikin says. – I hope, it will be pleasant to all fans of the ballet”.
As a socially responsible organization, the Setl Group Holding aimed at supporting and rehabilitating the cultural heritage of St. Petersburg for many years. Among the buildings reconstructed by the Holding, are monuments of federal significance and cultural sites of world size. The desire to maintain the traditions of the Russian culture and art has pushed the Setl Group to participate in the project.
